Summary

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, journal entries, and accounts receivable/payable oversite. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and initiative to be a valuable member of the team. Candidate should have enough experience and initiative to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

This is a full time salary exempt position which may require extra hours or extended work days when necessary.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Develop and process journal entries
• Compile and analyze month-end reporting and financial statements
• Assist with cash forecasting
• Daily oversite of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support functions
• Investigate discrepancies and provide solutions
• Assists other members of the accounting team as needed
• All other duties as assigned
• Note: This position may develop further based on the candidate's abilities and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 4-5 years work experience preferred
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Prior experience with Sage and/or Syspro ERP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
