What these roles are all about

Our fulfillment and inventory team works each day to stow, pick, pack, and ship orders in a high volume and fast-paced facility for our partner-customers. We pride ourselves on ensuring every order ships accurately, on time, every day and are looking for team members who will help make that happen!
Most of the product we store and ship is frozen or refrigerated, so an important thing you should know is that depending on the area you’re assigned to, you could spend a lot of time working in a cold environment (-5 degrees Fahrenheit!) and with ice or dry ice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Fulfillment Team

• Pick, pack, and ship orders using client’s directions
• Utilize eGourmet’s proprietary system to track shipping and inventory
• Assemble boxes and packaging materials
• Replenish materials for shipping line as needed/directed
• Keep packing and shipping areas clean and organized
• Meet inbound/outbound metrics
• Inspection of outbound orders for compliance to standard
• Follow standard operating procedures and warehouse policies for work processes
• Follow safety and security policies and processes

Inventory Team (Freezer)

• Bring in inventory (receiving and counting)
• Participate in cycle counts for inventory control
• Prepare palletized shipments
• Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyors, forklifts, and reach truck to safely move inventory throughout warehouse
• Pick orders from freezer and refrigerator as specified on pick tickets
• Follow standard operating procedures and warehouse policies for work processes
• Follow safety and security policies and processes
• Keep freezer and storage areas clean and organized

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL:

• 2+ years of similar warehouse experience in a high-volume facility, preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication), required for some roles
• Previous food & beverage industry experience, preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability with the safe use of forklifts (both sit-down and standup/reach) and other motorized warehouse equipment, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most of our fulfillment and inventory roles are physically demanding jobs that will require the following on a consistent basis:

• Ability to perform continuous physical activity, including standing and walking for long periods, lifting and moving up to 75 lb boxes repeatedly, and safely reaching into ice bins (approximately 4 feet deep)
• Ability to wear cold protective gear as needed for freezer work
• Ability to use handheld electronic equipment
• Ability to work in a climate controlled (-5*F) refrigerated environment for multiple hours per day

Shifts (note: some overtime may be required - please specify shift preference when applying!):

• AM Shift – 6am-3pm Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday
• PM Shift – 11am-8pm Monday through Thursday, 6am-3pm Sunday

Pay
$13-$14/hour depending on experience
$1.00/hour Freezer Pay premium for full time freezer assignment
