FOX Factory, Inc. – Facilities Technician – PVG
Overview
Reports directly to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and preventative maintenance of all facilities related equipment. The facilities technician also plays a major role in providing a safe and productive environment for all FOX employees.
Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician
- Performs minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs on any utilities found within the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment to include compressors, chillers, pumps, motors, and HVAC.
- Performs predictive and preventative maintenance on all facilities related equipment.
- Assist other departments with installation of equipment to include, rigging, electrical and utility piping
- Ability to fabricate, weld and operate manual machine lathes and mills
- Works closely with the EHS team to ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
- Utilize electrical and mechanical schematics, parts manuals, assembly instructions and other troubleshooting guides to assist in solving problems
- Utilize the CMMS system to record all maintenance and repair services performed and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Certified or licensed electrician preferred
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and with minimal guidance
- Ability to work as a member of a team
