Job Description

EXPEDITING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be conscious of manufacturing schedules and extra-ordinary items on order
• Expedite all purchased items prior to expected due date
• Notify Buyer / Supervisor of any PO discrepancies between ATS and the vendor
• Revise PO due dates in JD Edwards if approved by PM/Supervisor/Buyer
• Notify Supervisor of order(s) that are consistently late, so action can be taken
• Print and post and "Open Order Report" daily AM for the assembly floor
• Log vendor non-conformance reports for consistent problems with vendors
• Resolve packing slip discrepancies for the Receiving Dept
• Maintain files of cancelled PO's
• Comply with all company and dept ISO operating procedures

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quoting spares pricing to customers upon request
• Getting spares parts ordered, invoiced, and shipped to customer
• Maintain files of spares orders and quotes
• Help with returns and repairs when necessary
• Work to complete items noted on purchasing task list
