Treasure Valley Hospital is a 10-bed, Joint Commission accredited surgical facility located in Boise, Idaho, which was named as the #1 Hospital in the Nation in 2012 by CMS for patient satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our dedicated Team. This is a full-time position, day shift.

License or Certification Required: None.

Education and Experience Required:

• ?High school graduate
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Prior healthcare field experience as an Administrative Assistant
• Excellent customer service

Interpersonal Relations: Interaction with patients, families, physicians, teammates, visitors, contractors, and vendors must be in a manner that is friendly, positive, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. Behavior must promote an atmosphere of teamwork which is consistent with hospital standards and guidelines.

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

• ?Confidentiality in all hospital-related matters
• Expert at taking minutes
• Ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, reports and presentations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
• Maintain personnel files
• Research information
• Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively with other hospital personnel and patients
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be good at following up on projects, tasks, etc.
• Must have good reasoning ability and use independent judgment
• Screen telephone calls and schedule appointments

• Computer, multi-line telephone, printer/copier/fax, time clock

Required Physical Tasks:

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
