Batliner Recycling located in Oklahoma City, OK has an opening for a Shredder Operator. The hours are Monday - Friday working 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Responsible for the daily operation of the shredder.
• Use equipment to process, move and load paper for shipment while ensuring that processed paper meets customer specification.
• Will identify and process paper based on paper grade.
• Control the flow of paper with focus on meeting production schedules.
• General labor duties that may include (but not limited to): sweeping, general clean-up of area and/or equipment.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• Adhere to our employee handbook and company safety policies

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, throughout the shift.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience using heavy equipment.
