EMTs are specifically trained and certified to respond to emergency and skilled patient calls and administer basic and advanced emergency medical services to the ill and injured. EMTs to and from hospitals to other healthcare facilities, and occasionally residences. They work in conjunction with other members of the health care team and continuum of care. Emergency Medical Technician Responsibilities: Emergency Medical Technician Requirements: Our Wage Scale Matrix is based on years of experience in a given certification and Employment Status Level. Full-timers earn significantly more than Part-time or PRN, by design, because they are devoting more time to the Company, their schedules are on rotations, which cuts down on Scheduling Team workload, and they are the pillars of our operation. We also know some folks prefer Part-time or need to request PRN due to another Full-time job, a school schedule or child care. We support that, and our dedicated Schedulers will make sure they work with you on your needs and availability, but our system is truly designed to benefit Full-timers. · Full-time: A minimum of 80 hours per 2-Week Pay Period on a set rotation · Part-time: A minimum of 40 hours per 2-Wek Pay Period, which must include 2 weekend shifts a month, by turning in availability by the 15th of the current month for the next month, and picking up shifts using our easy-to-navigate cloud based scheduling software · PRN Approved: By HR approval-only, a minimum of 48 hours per quarter (typically 4 shifts in 90 days) EMT-B Salary Range: $13.50/hour – 21.00/hour EMT-A Salary Range: $14.50/hour - $24.00/hour Paramedic Salary Range: $17.50/hour - $28.00/hour Full-time Shift Differential Offerings: · +$0.75/hour additional if you are on a Full-time rotation and your shift begins between 1200 (noon) and 1659 (4:59 pm) · +$1.00/hour additional if you are on a Full-time rotation and your shift begins between 1700 (5 pm) and 0200 (2 am) Introductory Period for Full-timers is 60 days from Full-time Hire Date Benefits Offered include: · Health, Dental and Vision (through Medical Mutual of Ohio) · Life (through The Standard Insurance Company) · Accidental, Disability, Specialty (through Allstate) 401K Retirement Savings Account offered after one (1) year of employment and a minimum of 1,000 hours worked.
