Summary The Emergency Department Technician I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, Physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the Emergency Department and related areas. The position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECGs. Required: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician Program Preferred: Emergency Medical Technician experience Required: Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification.
