Working in the Economic Support Division of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department, this position determines eligibility for economic based benefits (ex: Food Share), provides case management, makes referrals, and answers questions about services available. This position:

  • Interviews clients to gather financial and non-financial information necessary to determine eligibility for benefits. Requests and verifies authenticity of information and documentation provided.
  • Conducts reviews for continued eligibility and provides case management services. Requests and verifies authenticity of information and documentation provided.
  • Provides information about services and programs available.

A high school diploma and whatever combination of additional education and work experience provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
