Allen & Gerritsen is looking for a Designer to join our band of misfits. As a new team member, your work will focus in Philadelphia while regularly stretching across offices. Your day to day will include everything from partnering on campaign concepting, design and layout to working on final prep for your work. You work will range across all media – print, digital, social and video – with opportunity to lean into client work that syncs up with your individual passions.

• Think conceptually, take direction and push yourself on each project that comes your way
• Facilitate the production of new business projects, working with art directors, copywriter and strategy
• Execute projects within timing parameters
• Ability to design and manage presentation decks in Keynote and PowerPoint
• Responsible for QA/monitoring to ensure all requirements are met as a quality check prior to any presentation/release/launch. Responsible for ensuring that approved materials are delivered properly
• Willingness to help any other member of the A&G team to complete and improve any assignment

• Bachelor’s degree in art, design, communications or related field of study
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience in and/or willingness to learn Keynote, PowerPoint and Google Docs Suite (Docs, Slides, etc.) is a plus
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as designer/studio/art director/design in advertising, marketing or design. Previous agency experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
• Ability to be assigned multiple projects and time management a necessity
• Good understanding of composition, colors, imagery, typography and print production
• Online portfolio of your best work that demonstrates solid presentation design, studio skills and design knowledge with an emphasis on clever, innovative thinking
