Onboarding Manager, Employee Lifecycle Events - Experienced Hire

The Employee Lifecycle Events (ELE) team is part of the Talent Services (TS) channel of the Deloitte Talent Organization. TS delivers a breadth of services through an innovative and customer-centric shared services model. The TS vision is to make a global impact through a distinctive Talent experience. The ELE Onboarding team focuses on providing all new hires across the Deloitte US Firms with a smooth, consistent, and efficient onboarding experience.

The ELE Onboarding Manager manages the Experienced Hire (EH) Onboarding process and team. As part of the ELE management team, the role is responsible for driving continuous process efficiencies, leveraging process and technology improvements, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources across US and USI. The role teams closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Technology, L&D, Talent Relations and the Office of General Counsel.

Work you'll do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to lead and identify opportunities for process and technology improvements to meet current and future needs, and drive efficiencies
  • Manages team performance to meet service level agreements and manage workloads, teaming closely with USI ELE management
  • Serves as point of escalation resolution by team and stakeholders through troubleshooting and implementing solutions
  • Ensures maintenance of standard operating procedures and knowledge articles within the onboarding team
  • Collaborates with USI counterparts on all activities to ensure alignment of priorities and ongoing responsibilities, and leverage best practices between US and USI onboarding teams
  • Manage the growth, development and performance management of a team of 8-10 full time and contractor onboarding specialists, providing coaching and mentoring as well as training
  • Supports the ELE Onboarding Leader with ongoing projects and initiatives, and contributes to other ELE initiatives

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ Years in Onboarding/Recruiting/ HR Operations experience
  • Project management experience and ability to motivate teams to deliver results in a timely manner
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including presentation expertise
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of projects in a fast paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment required
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong executive presence and experience interacting with senior leaders
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity and ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Consultative and collaborative approach toward clients and ability to influence others
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Understanding of a shared services organization
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:
  • HRIS Experience Required (SAP and/or SAP Success Factors preferred)
  • Case Management System Experience preferred (Salesforce or ServiceNow)

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado and Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425-$159,165.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
