Full Job Description

On-site supervision of high-end, custom homes. Understanding of all systems, construction techniques, latest equipment and materials, and local building codes and inspection processes is required. Duties include keeping on-site records, performing ongoing safety inspections, managing and scheduling employees and subcontractors, reviewing shop drawings, performing material takeoffs, checking conformance to specifications and design, maintaining a long and short term job schedule, coordination of all work, and communicating with the project architect, project engineer and project manager. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should be self-motivated, reliable, have great communication skills, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-house crews and subcontractors performing work on projects assigned
• Manage material orders and deliveries in alignment with schedules
• Work to reduce costs through good planning and timely execution of the work
• Responsible for developing and adhering to project budgets
• Responsible for safety on all projects
• Responsible for accurate and timely field reporting and invoicing
• Maintain quality control

The following skills/qualifications are desired but not all required.

• Fluently read blueprint plans and scopes of work
• Substantial experience at the project level to perform wireless projects assigned
• 5 to 10 years experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge of multiple carriers
• Ability to manage more than one crew at a time
• Strong leadership ability is preferred and the ability to lead a team required
• Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to speak, write and read English
• Proven time management and organizational skills
• Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace
• Excellent communicator, communicating clearly and often
• Independent work style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Experience:

• Construction Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:
