Responsibility:

  • -Assisting the school health service personnel with routine student health services in a designated school environment.
  • -Performing clerical duties associated with clinic functions.
  • -Assisting with the basic first aid for illness and injury of students and staff.
  • -Performing non-nursing care for students with special health needs, such as lifting and transferring, etc.
  • -Performing all clerical and related duties in a conscientious safe manner and assist with other duties as assigned by the school registered nurse.

Qualifications:
  • -Graduation from a general or technical high school with some additional experience in first aid and CPR training, certification in first aid and CPR and have previous work experience.
  • -CNA Certification
