Phoebe Putney Health System, in historic Albany, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Chief Administrative Officer to join the Phoebe Physicians leadership team. Phoebe is the largest health system in southwest Georgia with an impressive growth record.

Phoebe Physicians, with over 30 locations, is a network of more than 200 physicians who provide comprehensive, high quality medical care to patients of all ages. Our multi-disciplinary team includes family medicine practice, hospitalists, surgeons and numerous specialists in the field of cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, and more. Phoebe Physicians employs over 800 Phoebe family members. The health system employs over 4,000.

The ideal CAO candidate will possess a strong understanding of physician office operations including, business office functions, appointment scheduling, human resource management, financial reporting and budgeting processes, revenue cycle, customer service, and third-party reimbursement. The candidate must be adept at physician practice assessment and analysis, must possess skill in examining and re-engineering processes and procedures; creating and implementing new strategies focused on continuous improvement of operations. Familiarity with Medicare, OSHA, HIPAA and other compliance related activities typical within a Physician office practice. And effective communication with Physicians, Employees, Senior Management, and outside counsel and vendors.

The ideal candidate would possess a Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Management, or Finance and a minimum of 4 years progressive leadership experience with proven success in a physician practice management setting.
