Job Summary

Understand principles of sterilization. Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization. Able to prioritize duties. Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform. Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays. Certification Note: Required certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
• Linen Processing Experience
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
