Position Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the registered nurse with caring for patients. They assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene for patients who residing at the CareCenters. The certified nursing assistant also gives support to family members and reports any changes in patient status to the registered nurse.
Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED recognized by the Board of Education
• Training in HIPPA, Infection Control, safety, personal care and documentation
• CNA certification in the State of Illinois
• One to three years of CNA experience in nursing home/assisted living facility
• Experience working with terminally ill individuals, a plus
• Certain positions require Pediatric skill competencies on an infant, toddler, preschool, school age or adolescent
• Experience using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, shower benches/chairs, electric beds and other medical equipment
