BrightStar Care of Cumming / Gainesville, GA is looking for a CMA or CMT to join our team. At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults who require supportive, caring assistance in their homes.
CMA / CMT Benefits

• Pay starting at $16 per hour for Monday – Friday, $17 per hour for weekends
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• Variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments
• All shifts available, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Over 95% of BrightStar Care locations are Joint Commission accredited or in the process of becoming so

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information and assessment data
• Monitor patient status recognizing and reporting abnormal findings or changes in condition
• Recognizes emergency situations and implements emergency procedures according to clinic guidelines
• Obtain and record patient’s vital signs: temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight and height
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification as a CMA/RMA
• 1 year experience in a fast-paced clinic environment, a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
