The Penn State University Real Estate Services office is seeking a Real Estate Specialist 4. The selected candidate's primary role will be to facilitate lease negotiations for the University's overall cellular portfolio, which includes towers, rooftops, buildings, Distributed Antenna System (DAS), and ancillary structures, with an increasing focus on plans for supporting turnkey small cell technology. Prior cellular property management experience is essential as the individual will oversee third party management of the University's cellular agreements, including documentation, maintenance, capital improvements, and financial reporting/budgeting. In addition, this position will oversee lease negotiations for University personnel to occupy leased space, which involves interaction with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders. Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills are necessary to perform collaboratively concerning processes, contracts, and critical details. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and self-directed with advanced knowledge of real estate principles, practices, procedures, and legal documentation relative to the commercial real estate industry. The ability to work independently, meet time-sensitive deadlines, prioritize requests and workload, and understand transactions' financial implications is crucial. The ideal candidate will be required to learn new concepts, display attention to accuracy and detail, and resolve challenges with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in ad dition to standard background checks.
