• Supports the hospital mission and vision by providing excellent service to patients, visitors, hospital employees and all other gift shop customers. Maintains gift shop appearance and cleanliness. Promotes gift shop sales through product knowledge and customer interaction. Handles cash carefully and accurately

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service

Each employee’s most important role is to provide exceptional customer service to every customer who enters the gift shop.

· Store Performance

Every team member plays a role in store performance and all gift shop staff are responsible for meeting store performance objectives.

• Store Appearance

Each Sales Associate is responsible for keeping the gift shop clean and tidy.

• Cash Management

Each employee is responsible for accurate cash handling.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Cashier, general customer service, or related experience
• Ability to utilize a computerized cash register system with training

Location/days – Various Virtua Health Facilities – weekday evenings 4 to 8 pm and weekends 10 to 3 pm

Full job description

Meets and greets customers entering the shop. Assists customers with purchases and questions regarding merchandise. Maintains the cleanliness and general appearance of the shop as well as preparing merchandise for purchase. Completes sales transactions and daily reconciliation.

Pay - $15 and above depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
