DTLA Bodega is seeking a charismatic and super positive individual with a strong work ethic. Duties include taking customer orders, creating a positive experience for guests, regular maintenance of service areas. Must perform well in a fast-paced environment.

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Report to work on time and as scheduled. Must be able to clock in & out correctly on a daily basis.

· Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environment, meeting customer demands in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Must be able to multi-task.

· Provide excellent customer service at all times.

· Have in-depth menu knowledge and must be able to answer all guest questions with accuracy and tact.

· Have excellent communication and active listening skills.

· Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.

· Be a team-player, assisting co-workers whenever needed.

· Assist in other areas such as assembling orders, taking orders, etc.

· And other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Give customers menu and answer their questions regarding ingredients
• Take orders while paying attention to details
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the bar area clean
• Restock Items
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Skills

• Previous work experience as a cashier/customer service
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
