Just Play is seeking a full-time assistant manager for our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are looking for a responsible, positive, and friendly individual with excellent communication skills and team leadership experience to lead in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

Assistant Manager duties include, but are not limited to supporting the park manager in the following:

  • Hire, motivate and train 10+ Team Members.
  • Understand, follow, improve and enforce all safety guidelines.
  • Serve all guests and Team Members in a positive way per Just Play standards, bring all complaints or concerns to a resolution that is best for all.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance is completed.
  • Lead team in maintaining a clean facility by understanding, delegating and inspecting all cleaning tasks.
  • Supervise staff time, attendance and productive to meet customer demand and business needs.
  • Create and communicate a weekly employee schedule.
  • Manage cash in a secure, thorough and accurate manner.
  • Track and manage inventory.

Qualifications for the Assistant Manager in order to ensure effectiveness in each job function include:

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Ability to properly handle customer concerns.
  • Ability to remain calm and think fast in a very hectic environment.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent job-related experience.
