Employment Type : Full-Time

Must have a strong belief in the importance of the Montessori Philosophy. Responsible for assisting the Lead Directress in the management of the classroom including the supervision of the children and planning and implementation of the curriculum. Will assist the Lead in the direction of the student activities; academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her full potential in these developmental areas. Will assist the Lead in overseeing and coordinating each child’s personal care, hygiene and safety, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance /discipline. Ensure that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe. Keep Lead Directress/ Head of School informed on a timely basis of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program.

Must enjoy the children and trust in the potential of each child to make good choices.

Schedule: 2 pm to 6 pm
