Arlington Public Schools is re-opening an after-school site at the Gibbs 6th Grade School. We are looking for a teacher to lead our physical education activities. Our schedule has 2 PE periods a day and we want someone to both plan and lead PE activities for groups of students. We are interested in candidates who want to engage and participate with the students during PE and during other activities throughout the day. We work as a team and are looking for team players. Other duties include: Homework help Supervision of children in classroom, gym, art, outside and on occasional field trips General cleanup of areas used by after-school Hours: 1:00pm - 6:00pm Mon - Fri Some additional hours for early release days and vacations Starting salary $16-21/hr Job Type: Part-time
