Job Description Summary

The History Department at Bentley is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach one or two history of medicine courses in the fall of 2021 (two courses would be preferable). The first course is “The History of Medicine” (HI 374). It meets Tues., Thursday from 3:30 to 4:50 PM. The second course is “The Drugs Trade in History” (HI 308). It meets Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:10 PM. It is likely that courses for this fall semester will be offered in a hybrid modality (i.e., faculty and some students in person, and other students attending online).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or ABD) in History or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous teaching experience preferred.

Must be familiar with Blackboard or Zoom or have a willingness to learn. Bentley University makes training available for both platforms.
