JOB SUMMARY:
Works with high speed machinery in the rewind operation of a textile manufacturing plant.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, tuning, and repair of equipment
• Troubleshoot production and efficiency issues
• Order and maintain all parts for the Autoconers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of the Metric system and ability to work with exacting measurements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift while wearing steel toe boots or approved equivalent
• Ability to move 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Experience/Education:

• 2 or more years of production experience using machine controls and hand tools
• High School Diploma/GED
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Noisy production mill with hearing protection required
• Occasionally will work with various lubricants which require the use of proper PPE
• Occasionally use compressed air which requires the use of proper PPE
